Is this going to be the first time an economic crisis hits when the right has control of all three parts of the government?

Will be interesting to watch the political spin and its effectiveness this time.

Iowa State senate just flipped by 22 points.

Her message is clear, the economy is in shambles and you are paying more for everything.

It’s the economy, stupid. (See Iowa State)

These comments bashing one of the best politicians the Democrats have are wild.

Bluesky be blueskying.

I call it the great American cope.

Americans failed. Also, Americans voted to close down the food banks.

You are correct.

And somehow every week I hear about a new Federal ruling blocking another illegal or unconstitutional order.

There were no good choices when it came the CR bill.

Now, we see town halls full of Republicans demanding answers.

And ironically, Democrats in-fighting again.

So since USAID couldn’t be saved by the Federal courts we should shut them down so they are prevented from saving other agencies?

Perfect is the enemy of the good. People are still doing this I guess.

All I hear are concepts of plans for when the government shuts down and Musk has full control.

All of the anti-Schumer comments have this insincere smugness to them.

Federal judge ruling just yesterday working as Schumer planned.

What is your concept of a plan during a shutdown when the Federal courts shutdown?

Can you say it louder for the Democrats in the back who withhold their vote unless their candidate passes a purity test?
March 27, 2025 at 7:04 PM
I’m not sure what you’re commenting.

That future illegal firings or cuts from social programs would be reinstated even while the federal courts shut down within three weeks of a government shut down?
March 19, 2025 at 4:46 PM
I’m reading news today that the courts have already reinstated tens of thousands to their jobs from their illegal firings.

Under a government shutdown this wouldn’t happen.

If you believe a government shutdown works in your favor as Musk/Trump proceed with illegal acts, that’s your prerogative.

“Could” is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

I believe we’re in uncharted territory.

Seems Bluesky would like to gamble with America’s most vulnerable population on the hopes and dreams of how the government ‘should’ operate during a government shutdown. That seems to be the popular opinion here.
March 19, 2025 at 4:11 PM
As I understand it federal courts would shut down within three weeks.

Who will put a pause and review these illegal executive orders/policies then?

What mechanism will democrats have to slow the executive then?

Big lover of schadenfreude but Bluesky is wild.

Cheering for snap and Medicaid to be under the sole purvey of Musk and Trump. Those things would be cut within a week.

Y’all win petty political points while countless children and elderly suffer.

Wild stuff from Bluesky “democrats”
