noun /ˈhʌʃ.ruːm/ /ˈhʌʃ.rʊm/

A small, fleshy, sentient spore-producing body of 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘮𝘺𝘤𝘦𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘴 fungi. Shy and quiet, they hide from passers-by, emitting a "Hu" to warn of danger and a "sh" when safe.

When first considering the creative style for #Threadbare, I was drawn back to Amiga Classic, #CannonFodder (1993) by Sensible Software. A marvel of pixel art and sound/music, with totally unique gameplay.
