Not to give a definitive answer but the Rangers disproved 1 for me but reportedly his knee issue did manifest itself in the final stretch of the season.

Not to give a definitive answer but the Rangers disproved 1 for me but reportedly his knee issue did manifest itself in the final stretch of the season.

If it's 1, I expect a bounceback next year. If it's 2, probably not but maybe better clubhouse vibes help him. If it's 3, the defense is probably gone for good but I think he could bounceback as a DH with a solid bat if he's allowed to only focus on it.

2) He was miffed by arbitration talks and soured on the Rangers. He removed the Rangers from his social media preseason and maybe his head's just not in the right place on this team to play well.
