We have picked & stored. Saved seeds. Pea pods empty, beans topped & tailed. We have cleaned out the ash from the last fire & the chimney is swept. Summer clothes put away & socks on feet. We have taken pictures of flowers & filled books with autumn leaves. We are ready.
