While the motivation & implementation for the 'Cashless Welfare Card' was vastly different from the Consumer Credits of @abenanav.bsky.social , it seems to me that Australian Fed Gvt was unwittingly, accidentally and dangerously (for the current system) close to trialing Consumer Credits.

From where does this come?
