For being one of the early missions, that one is surprisingly tricky. The initial drop of Draconis forces is pretty tough, and you have to be fast enough to get to the battlesuits that go after your dropship.

The navy also commonly runs exercises with friendly (not even allied) nations. They get exposed to the world in a way that can’t happen to a grunt stuck on a base.
