Your mention of the Lazarus effect just made me think of a patient they talked about at my first hospital. Came in, died, pronounced twice and awoke (once while on way to morgue). Third time he came in, they kept him in a room in the ED until body cooled. 😵💫😵💫😵💫

At the condo complex that I live in, we have a small pond. From the time the pond is mostly ice-free to late fall, we have Canadian murder geese and occasionally ducks. We have trained the geese by slowly rolling cars close to them to move. Ducks give us the fu and walk slowly in single file.

You need a good bottle so you can have more than one wee dram. I would also add to the list: some decadent chocolates and a pound or two of assorted cheeses.
