To be in a place where this is part of my reality is breathtaking. I am so lucky and feel last week it was my job to witness this beauty. In a world where I question everything there is comfort in the ground beneath my feet and spending time in nature regulating my nervous system. #darlingbudsofmay

A time for reflection today. We visited a graveyard. It was so still, lots of bird song and head stones carved with the words “loving” “much loved” remembering people who were so loved.

Whenever we drive by magnolia trees in bloom me and my husband gift them to each other, gesturing in the direction of the blooming tree saying “that’s yours.” The recipient says a sincere thank you, gleefully acknowledging the imaginary gift. It is such a silly game and so fun. Now, here is yours 💕😊

I have a very painful mildly interesting migraine at the moment. It could be to a response to no HRT, lying in a dark room with a cold compress is the way forward. Or it could be a blanket response to the bullshit and fascism consuming the world #Hahamenopuase #migrane #calmerthanyouare #BigLebowski

Magenta pink magnolia tree is blooming. I feel so lucky to see this happening, having planted it tens ago. It is still modest and so beautiful. It was a beautiful sunny day here again. #garden #magnolia #treesinbloom #blossoms

Today was a lovely sunny day. East Sussex throwing shapes being so beautiful in spring. There was a bit of gardening and chatting to small dogs telling them how good they are. Have a sniffly cold, the first in two years and felt so grateful for the sunshine and an outside space. #gardening #dogs

I was thinking about the concept of the squeaky wheel. It apparently gets more attention than the other three wheels doing their job. However all the wheels of the world are screaming (not just squeaking) all the time and soaking up all attention. All the energy. Demanding all the grease. Ugh.

Today I refined hands, bum and thighs. I have been working on this sculpture for over two years and am keen to complete it in the next month. I have worked in fibreglass before. One of my favourites was called “Reign”. A labour of love and a play on the word Rain too. I would love to work in bronze

I have discovered today heart-shaped wombs ❤️ called bicornuate uteruses exist!
They occur when the uterus's 2 sides don't fully fuse together. Resulting in a deep indentation at the fundus of the uterus, giving it a ❤️ shape.
I also discovered today that I have one, in me! As opposed to in a jar.
