This was Pete's big chance to reclaim the aura he lost with his cringey speech to the generals, practicing for days in the mirror, dick in hand, "kill them all" over and over, the camera in his mind zooming in while a thousand nazis ejaculate in the air saying "pete ur dad was wrong u r so cool!"

"this hour of peace..."
Sometimes I feel like there was my life before this movie and after this movie.
I also happened to wtch it on the same day that I read The Invisibles 1.7, which if you know the work made for a pretty heavy day.

This is much like how I 'refuse' to do three backflips in a row.

My high school writing teacher would have kicked the shit out of me if I ever submitted work like that.

But as the Aeon of Horus crashes into the Aeon of Maat words lose their meaning and become like liquid, taking the shape of whatever ideological vessel that carries them. Which is a fancy way of saying I don't know how to respond to these assholes when communication has been rendered meaningless?

Appreciate you adding your voice!

The history written of this period will be (best case) an astonished account of a society spending years and years trying to argue themselves out of the knowledge that fascists need the shit kicked out of them full stop.

A friend was discussing the idea that identity has become a commodity, right down to those yucky AI action figure kits - do you think that applies to this quote? Insofar as a lot of 'being a writer' these days seems to involve 'being a writer'? If that makes sense?

It's like the 'grifter and/or delusional' thing; we're plagued with voices who delight in sounding what they think intelligence sounds like to receive the status from audiences/institutions that want the sympathetic magic of being associated with intelligence...?

I don't know enough to know whether Bret (insert any shitbag pundit here) is:
a Stupid enough not to see how he serves power
b Amoral enough not to care
c On the take
d some combo of the above

You fucking coward.

Also seriously doubting that either of them are capable of feeling love.

But, but 'Hamilton' made it all seem so cool and fun ?!?!

Based on my experiences as a Crisis Worker I don't think that it would be hyperbolic to say that one of the primary, if not the primary, underpinnings of power structures in our society is the enactment of consequence-free sexual abuse, often of minors.

Insofar as this book is actually part of the War on Science, in that it abandons scientific principles in favour of cowardly anti-woke nonsensical cultural criticism (aka whinging), the title is accurate.

(also you're a predator creep Larry, f off)

Maybe being a hipster dbag about horrible atrocities here but everyone on the Invisibles-type signal has known that the world is run by pedophile-monsters for well ever? Looking fwd to the next step of what we can collectively do about that.

Wonderful stuff! Really exciting to play. Also nailing the balance between giving great setting and character details while remaining sortof vague enough to allow me to fill things in to sortof customize the events for my own personal STO storyline. Thanks for your work!

His performance had for me the same quality as Freddie Mercury's voice, cutting through the entirety of the world's darkness to make me feel joyous.
