I refuse to celebrate the Fourth of July this year, 250th anniversary or not.

I don't believe we're truly independent right now, we're being held hostage in a fascistocracy by 85 million dipshits.

I'd rather be under the British crown right now than this hellscape.

Also tired of being called NeGaTiVe because I possess the simple ability to see the damage the GOP has wrought upon this country for generations.

The damage wrought by their orange savior I also warned of before he came down the escalator with his chain migration Russian asset of Epstein origins.

Yes!! I had a nearly identical conversation (come up out of nowhere) with an immediate relative today. I'm still dumbfounded by this.

I've spent over 30 years in the arena & this genius knows that. I said I'm tired of expending energy that is wasted on the majority of Americans.

I'm on a break!

I'm old enough to remember when reuters was the global platinum standard for news reporting. Now it's a couple of steps shy of becoming fox news.

The change was especially dramatic when they brought in the current editor in chief. Destroying a 175 year old institution.....

Mike Lee is an enemy of the state.

If/When the good guys regain control, we should treat him like the forefathers intended all traitors be treated.

I thought that Trump, the Reuters choice to lead the USA, was going to cut prices on EvERyThInG?!?!

In bringing our country to this brink.

Our media is completely willing to attack the Clintons, who stood up to Putin. Yet, the corporate media give a pass to Bush 43, who bankrupted us over the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, gave trillions in tax cuts to the rich, and stole the 2000 election.
December 30, 2025 at 1:21 AM
I realize this is a bit of a tangent, but it's triggered a strong emotional response: Why the hell is that traitor George W Bush unwilling to condemn Chump??

Bush 43 was allegedly so tough, yet he's afraid of going after a member of his own corrupt party. Bush and his daddy played outsized roles

I am grateful that an influential voice like Seth's is calling out the New York Times' barrage of lies.

I keep trying to figure out why so many other influential voices give oxygen to the NYT stories in a way that affirms their reporting. It's like rewarding a child's bad behavior.

This!! I have been in agony for years that there's not a single soul in DOJ who's willing to risk everything and leak them. There's almost definitely at least a couple dozen people who have full access. Shame on them. They're complicit in treason.

These actions & we'd never have had a republic
December 20, 2025 at 1:24 AM
Also worth noting after headlines like this: The fact that people refer to the New York Times like it's even remotely credible. Or, giving oxygen to a tabloid (NYT) that easily lost it's credibility at least 30 years ago. What a waste of those folks' time, supporting Fox News Lite.

No, they're not out. Just lots of blank pages. Ya'll actually believing the trump injustice dept. LOLZ
December 19, 2025 at 11:56 PM
NO, they're not. LOL

Lots of pretty blank pages, though!
December 19, 2025 at 11:55 PM
Roberts should be convicted of treason. Period.
December 19, 2025 at 11:52 PM
Five minutes to review all the blank pages. Didn't expect anything else from this crowd.
December 19, 2025 at 11:50 PM
It'll take five minutes to review hundreds of blank pages.
December 19, 2025 at 11:48 PM
South Carolina started the civil war (in order to *continue* slavery) and they're still fightin' 160 years later. Maybe they'll get the memo one of these decades.
December 19, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Can you imagine the outcry if this was the Bill Clinton administration?? CNN, Andrea Mitchell, Lisa Myers, and a thousand other TV and "paper / magazine" reporters would be screaming at Bill and Hill 24 / 7, crying about the apocalypse bc of the missing three minutes.

Strangely, not with trump.
December 19, 2025 at 11:40 PM
And while they're at it, throw Obama in jail for failing to protect Hillary and our democracy in 2016. He failed to act on credible intelligence that our elections were being subverted by Putin.

Oh, and Obama gave us Merrick Garland. That's another strike.
December 19, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Oh, no. We can't call them monsters and predators. That would be negative. And gosh knows one of the worst thing in the world is being a DoOmEr.
December 12, 2025 at 11:16 PM
I remember some freaking out that the neo liberal corporate shill, Connor Lamb, would end the planet as we know it.

Yet, I'm willing to bet he'd oppose Trump more often & more effectively than Bernie's boy, Fetterman.

Lamb would also be positioned to win for a couple of cycles. Not Fetterman.
December 11, 2025 at 2:21 AM
We could've had Connor Lamb.

Instead, we got Senator Sweatpants.

It's always good to hear from the true leader of the Democratic Party. An early Christmas gift!

December 11, 2025 at 2:02 AM
Exactly!

I've read too many obituaries on his political career and there's been no actual consequences to date. Until there's tangible punishment for all of his crimes, everything else is just punditry.

Josh calling folks "doomers" because they're actually realists does not help our cause.
