The US is only a reliable ally to the extent that the voters didn't elect a stupid president in the last election. Europe and all other countries need to keep that in mind now and in the future even after Donald has gone.

Even if dumb people outnumber the smart ones: It can't possibly be easier and cheaper to make a movie that is a bunch of CGI than to just have a good smart writer.

We need to talk about what fascism is. It's a kinda slippery term but it's basically a total prioritization of the state. That's different from total power/deference to a dictator. That's why Donald isn't a fascist, he doesn't care about the state at all, just himself.

There isn't any entertainment media for smart people. It's as if in writer-school they teach writers to add stupid-people-drama to every scene. EVERY SCENE. Can't the characters just have normal adult competence for once?
