The fabulous Lynmouth Cliff Railway. The highest & steepest fully water powered railway in the world. We walked up the hill, & rode down.

Sunset on the North Devon coast last Wednesday. The lack of internet connectivity added to the sense of isolation.

Some incredible prehistoric Wollemi Pines at the fabulous Batsford Arboretum.

If visiting the Cotswolds, I’d suggest prioritising the Batsford Arboretum over some of the vastly over-crowded tourist-swamped towns.

The Sheep on Sheep Street, Stow on the Wold. A lovely hotel with a fabulous restaurant, & convenient parking (if you are lucky enough to
find a space!)

Just back from a week away. Started the trip last Monday with a visit to Brodsworth Hall in what appeared to be the sub-tropical South Yorkshire. So much still in flower in the amazing gardens.

Dahlia Rejman’s Fire Cracker. From
2020 😍 I lost this tuber, & replacements have not matched the original in flower size, or the full double flower character.

MrsG has been on some of upholstery classes, my job is to dismantle the distressed objects of future renovation. This is going to be an incredible chaise long.

Wow! Thank you. What an archive! . The trunk clearly has some history. Cheers🥂

A fabulous travel trunk, now a coffee table with glass top. It sailed from New York to Southampton on the Queen Mary. From the luggage label
I think the date is 1947. The first postwar sailing was July 31 1947, but I can’t read the full date; it doesn’t look like July, any ideas?

I took this photo of the pink McLaren 470S parked outside the St Pancras Hotel London in October 2023. I walked past it a few days ago & it doesn’t look like it has been moved, but someone is clearly keeping it washed.

Never had a #18 before, so tantalisingly close to the elusive #19 prize winning cork!

Here, it’s just a quiet night in with a glass of #19Crimes.

Reposted without the completed image.

What an interesting jigsaw. The picture on the box was an image of what happened prior to the image used for the puzzle. A fun puzzle, but the box picture was no real help. Still, highly recommended. 🧩
