Did you know that the PC release of THPS2 also included all of the THPS1 levels in its files, not just the 3 that are used in-game? I made a side mode that restores the THPS1 career mode inside of THPS2 in the new version of the patch. It's available via the config or a launch flag

It's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2's 25th anniversary tomorrow/today. I put out a new version of my patch for the PC release that I think finally makes it the definitive version to play:

the media apps in macos 26 are a real disaster. they're optimizing to have as many overlapping elements as possible to show off the new shader effects, but that adversely affects basic legibility. also the safe spots for window movement are gone (but still functionally present, at least)

i did some real tests (f-zero gx settings menu):
8 frames latency with NSO gamecube controller
7 frames latency with gp2040ce
3 frames latency on original hardware

some interesting stuff: truly everything is translated. that includes hud, gaps, tricks, etc. also the steve cab gundam deck that was replaced in the jp ps1 version is still in there

found a japanese copy of thps2 for pc. it’s fully translated, surprisingly. the ps1 version had only english text
