I enjoyed it! I was very surprised how cinematic it felt at times given the limited scale, and I thought Mark (as well as everyone else) put on a great performance. Was fun showing up with other fans to enjoy a fun movie.

We're not complete savages! We know how to raise an army, we've got standards!

...I mean, they aren't high standards, but they're better than nothing.

Your OLD fursona/avatar texture map.

"I like the new avi, but what happened to your old one?"

Oh, you know...

"Although we depend on the environment for our survival, our species has been willing to sacrifice others for our lebensraum..."

Damn.

The book is 'The Origins of the Modern World' by Robert B. Marks, in case anyone is interested in a very well written, but also very boring history book.

It also does not help that this book is boring as sin. In all of what I've gotten through so far, there has been only a single line that piqued my interest. Piqued my interest might be a little too tame honestly, it genuinely shocked me, all thanks to one word.

Going to try getting a digital copy of this book in addition to the audio book so I can just highlight instead of having to constantly pause and rewind to take write notes, and will buy rather than rent my copies of later books in this course so I can do the same (assuming I don't drop).

Other things to appreciate are the new white color variant of the rabbit, the new (block accurate) single wide chest, and how clean the terrain build is overall, with many jumpers and even a few tiles greatly reducing the number of exposed studs. It's an adorable set with a really good value.

The fox (thankfully) has received a new head mold. The much hated ocelot/cat head mold (left) has now been replaced with a much more detailed custom head mold (right). This features better opacity on the eye printing, as well as dual molding for the white fur on the underside of the head.

LEGO has updated the skin tone for Steve to a darker, more game accurate color (right), which is a marked improvement from the very light skin tone seen previously (left). The print opacity on the head also seems to be improved from when they first introduced this update a few years ago (center).
