No. BCG vaccine has low efficacy in adults and is not indicated for use in lower incidence countries like the US. If traveling to high incidence countries regular screening, testing and LTBI treatment when indicated are all better options.

My father waited too long and his cancer that could have been caught early and treated, was stage IV and terminal. He had less than four years with constant treatment before he died of his preventable colon cancer. He was 63. Early detection is key!
