Question for code specialists out there: presuming that one is evaluating purchase of an existing industrial building and planning on an adaptive reuse for institutional use, what should purchaser be prepared for with respect to triggering prospective code upgrade requirements?

Thinking out loud here. What’s the path to the next set of constitutional amendments that have a substantive commitment to equity and inclusion? That are fundamentally reflective of our most expansive self-conception as a culturally plural democratic republic?
