All that was left then was to play with the hue and saturation of the colors I chose.
First few pallets felt too neutral compared to the majority of Sonic characters, so I just cranked it up.
Added some doodles to showcase what his design could do, and then I was done!

After that, I gave him some gloves and shoes with square shapes to contrast his sharpness, then moved on to colors.
Settled for a warmer fur pallet, a cooler glove and shoe pallet, and muted colors to divide them.
Also tweaked his head silhouette to make it more distinct.

Once I had a clear idea on what types of shapes I wanted him to have, his patterns and details sorta came naturally, though they changed slightly from the first draft to the final.
