Late May to Early August, I'd say around 10 weeks! 90% of it is language study, but the last week I volunteered to learn disaster recovery, perform community service, and get fieldwork experience :)
I'm a Environmental Biology major and a Japanese minor, so this trip is gonna be really good for me

be careful with the ice! it was so bad here when it first started snowing heavier last week because we had a small bit recently and they didnt salt things back down
i slipped so many times (luckily never fell) but my roommate did and hit his head on a car (HES OKAY WE MADE SURE)

with the proper rhythm tutorial i think its really important to emphasize that the beginning, easiest tracks are still very difficult to master
less notes, everything is more points, so a couple milliseconds difference that turns a crit into a perfect can just ruin your run to hit #1

im especially proud of that familiar performance because i got this game expecting to be super bad at it
familiar was the first song i tried in arcade mode to get the blow flowing on release date, chose hard "for the hell of it"
first attempt was S++. i was so giddy and happy i could still cry
