I made red pozole last weekend. Same ingredients you have, but pigs feet cooked for a long time to make the broth rich with a bit of funk. Good stuff.

We're supposed to be driving from SLO to Capistrano on Xmas morning. I was telling my family we'd need to be flexible and they shooshed me because it never rains that hard if So Cal - but for the last several years, SB County has gotten some real deluges that can close the 101 in several places.

My girl. When she left us we thought we would take time off. But we missed the love so much we went in full speed with a new pupper. The new dog was a pain but a welcome relief. We missed our Tillie so much.

I was just looking at her. That photo was from a few years ago. I adopted her after she was left alone in an outdoor apiary. She now lives in our house with a buddy and is well loved. Her feathers are so good now.
