the fountain of youth
holds no truth
the seeker so uncoth

we all age, mirrors don't lie
the wealthy think they get a by

but Time takes its toll on one and all

its hoped you're a person of substance to recall

If not, I fear your golden years
will be filled with self-loathing& unbridled tears

Life was never easy. In fact, it's the hardest thing I've ever done.
It attacked me, & it broke me, but I never allowed it to make me bitter. I never allowed it to leave holes in a bleeding heart; no, I patched those holes up with empathy & compassion, even when crashing into self.
