I'm using the next 10 days that I'm off work for self-improvement, and anything that improves my life counts! Today, I washed dishes, did laundry, organized my kitchen cabinets, put away a bunch of stuff that was just laying around, and read a book. My space is cleaner and I feel more centered.

Anthem and Mount Sinai are in the middle of a contract dispute which means on January 1st, I will lose access to the care team I've spent 15 years assembling because every single doctor I see is a Mount Sinai doctor. I will have to build a whole new care team from scratch.

The soles of my trusty combat boots cracked beyond repair a couple days ago, and I went a little overboard replacing them. My first of three pairs of replacement shoes arrives tomorrow.
