It’s #POTSAwarenessMonth and while POTS isn’t rare, it is rarely talked about. As a mom of kid with POTS, I am encouraged that research is being done, but we need more. COVID has triggered POTS in folks and we need real treatments. Learn more at www.nhlbi.nih.gov/news/2022/re...

Fired up being part of the standing-room only crowd at another town hall where Rob Wittman is no show.
Rep. Wittman refuses to represent us or even listen to constituents. People are hurting in real ways and we need public servants, not seat fillers like Wittman.

A packed house for Sen. Hashmi’s town hall. Rob Wittman was invited but as we can see by the empty chair, he didn’t show. Constituents deserve to be represented and heard!

Another lovely couple married today in Chesterfield! Happy to have been a part of this. I’m laughing in the second photo but I don’t remember why 😂. This couple’s story is a beautiful reminder of how people find their way back together 💕

I’ve had some reminders that “after winter must come spring” today. The weather was lovely. I had some great strategy calls. And we are in middle school orientation for this little one who I swear was born like 3 years ago and not 11…🫣

The Virginia Court Clerk’s Association held our lobby day and reception at the General Assembly this morning. Great to see legislators and staff to discuss our priorities!

It was a privilege and an honor to administer the oath to the @oneccps new superintendent, Dr. John Murray. As a parent of kids in Chesterfield public schools, I am excited to see what’s coming for our schools, teachers, and kids!

It was lovely to join @fairfaxdems this morning for the Road to Richmond event as legislators prepare for the General Assembly session to begin this week. I met several new friends and caught up with some I haven’t seen in a while. Thanks for letting me visit!

This morning, I’ve joined the @norfolkdems for breakfast to support a few friends and colleagues running for reelection! I was also able to help folks get on the ballot by notarizing petitions. Excited to be with this awesome committee!

Christmas morning in the Pohl house. The floral legos and “bricktanicals” were a big hit. The youngest got me the last nerve candle which is hilarious and the kids loved putting up the annual family ornament! Happy Holidays!
