In our world, we don’t just welcome guests - we observe movement, energy, and patterns. We see the quiet things others overlook. And sometimes, those quiet things matter more than we realize. Human trafficking rarely arrives shouting.

But the truth is larger than any single story. If one person is affected, the world is affected. We live in a global ecosystem where health, productivity, caregiving, education, and economic stability are tightly intertwined.

We often hear about tariffs and trade wars on the news, but what do they actually mean for you and me? Let’s simplify it. Imagine a coffee farmer in another country, that’s the exporter. They sell their coffee beans to a business in your country, the importer, also known as the middleman. Now, here’s where it gets interesting: when the beans arrive at the border, the importer must pay a tariff, which is basically a tax charged by the government.

I’ve learned something about insecurity, it wears many masks. Sometimes it looks like confidence. Sometimes it sounds like kindness. But underneath, it’s fear, fear of not being enough, fear of being outshined, fear of being unseen. And honestly? Insecure people scare me. Prayer:🙏🏾 Father God, I thank You that You know me fully , my strengths, my weaknesses, my heart, my history. Reveal to me any area where I’ve been hiding, denying, or compromising in the name of comfort or fear.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to lose yourself in a world that’s constantly showing you who to be. We scroll, we compare, and we quietly start shaping our desires around what looks good on someone else. But somewhere between admiration and imitation, we forget to ask ourselves the simplest question, what do I really want? Most people don’t actually know what they want.

We can’t build safe work environments if we’re forced to become strangers. You don’t have to tell everyone everything, but no one should have to feel invisible just to feel safe.
