its really nice, i use raw linen, size, & prime it with several layers, then sand it medium smooth, the reason is because I started to paint much bigger, and canvas is easier to roll and transport.💫

Oh yes, that’s a good point, I never thought about using black as a blue with yellow, that’s quite a clever trick.. 🍃

Ok thanks, I will have to try it one day, my fear is trying to learn the opposite light to dark method using watercolour, than I’ve learned from oil paint.

That’s interesting you use black and not just mix your own darks with brown/blue, also have you tried the color by Winsor Newton ‘ Green Gold’ ? … it’s amazing
