Recently I’ve been surprised by how much reading helps my mental health. I think it’s the single best thing I can do for myself as someone who spends a lot of time on social media. Reading words that aren’t these words, allowing myself to mentally exist somewhere else… feels incredible.

the layoff vibe check is bad right now :( people move on but I can’t help but hold all the people who were laid off and their families in my thoughts right now (in addition to being nice to myself). but shit still sucks. the polygon union unit (and others laid off) deserved so much better.
