I could go on all day about how Kane pixels has damaged the backrooms lore. How his version of the backrooms throws out all the "liminal" aspects for being in your face scary. A liminal space, by definition, is a familiar place with nothing but traces of people around, kane pixels takes that concept

Kitty (from level 974 or "Kitty's House") by making them aggresive in some when when canonically, they're entirely benevolent and even considered friendly, for the gods sake, the level has power and wi-fi and the way you get there in lore is just by having something considered "cute" by kitty.

Others, lore speaking that is, but past that you were simply alone, walking through soggy carpet and the same wallpaper over and over.

But now every backrooms game has the out of place wire monster in the first level and there's always other people there.
