I’m not big on “resolutions” but I found this article on setting intentions for the new year quite resonating: wapo.st/3YjAWYq

Pretty and festive, but that’s a lot to water! 😂 #HappyHolidays

My pretty girl! 🥰 She always gets affectionate when she knows I’m traveling. She doesn’t like the cat sitter much.

#Palermo a Natale: Quattro Canti

This is one of my favorite spots on via Maqeda. My friend took them and said I could share them. Enjoy!

There’s something festive about grade submission and closing out the semester! ☃️

I think this is a Thanksgiving cactus, not a Christmas cactus.

I bought this last week on a whim and the flowers arrived only a day and a half ago. #SchlumbergeraBridgesii

The Trump Administration has one mega-enforcement action that accounted for over 82% of OFAC's 2025 penalties, its enforcement action against GVA Capital, Ltd. published on 12 June 2025. GVA Capital Inc. continued to manage assets and investments for a blocked person and ignored an OFAC subpoena. /8

Trump II shows a marked decline in the enforcement penalty amounts compared to Trump I and Biden. Of course, nothing can top the Obama administration's "whale-hunting" strategy that reflect OFAC's newly acquired penalty powers thanks to IEEPEA. /5

Most of the enforcement actions published on OFAC's web site (ofac.treasury.gov/civil-penalt...) were non-egregious. In one case, only 8 of the 21 EA's were egregious. /4

The number of non-voluntarily disclosed enforcement actions was higher, which may have been due to the three individuals targeted with sanctions enforcement in 2025, the most seen several years. /3

The first year of the Trump Administration was an interesting mix of enforcement actions with a strong focus on Russia for obvious reasons followed by Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba. I'm curious to see what 2026 brings! /2

I guess this is a mood board? Seems apt. I probably would have just said all “vibes” and no “substance.”

I bought a “new” Star Wars alarm clock made in the early 1980s. I asked for this for every Christmas, and it never arrived under the Xmas tree. Tantrums, begging, rationalization didn’t budge my parents to get it for me. 😂

Kidding, it’s just a holiday decoration. I usually dislike the November-December holiday period, but I’m feeling festive this year.

My office mate is observing me grading this morning! Don’t worry, the grade comes from me. She’s far more severe and stringent, as you can probably tell.

Before Halloween trick-or-treating starts tomorrow, I'm going to go down to the food bank and drop off a bunch of stuff I bought this week.

I just don't understand how the government can ignore a program that supports 12% of the US population, which is nearly 42 million people.
