I work at Knott’s Berry Farm. Home of the og haunt. Not a kids event, and yet, every night people bring their kids and they are absolutely terrified. Parents think it’s funny. It’s not. Gory imagery really doesn’t have a place in your front yard. I love it as much as anyone. But not for kid spaces.

I have been a subscriber of Disney channel since it was a thing. I cancelled yesterday. It was a little tough. When asked why, I said free speech matters and it’s not acceptable to punish it.

Making sure that my children were caring and empathetic was the important goal as a parent. Rich in finances they will never be. But rich in humanity they are. That will be our legacy and future.

I love Rilla of Ingleside. It edges out Anne of the Island just a little. Have you read The Blythes are Quoted? Some familiar stories there. But also a little peek into life after the war. It was an unfinished novel recently published.

I used to be Mormon. And the one thing I’ve taken from the church, is preparedness. We live in earthquake country and it just makes sense.
