I had an amazing weekend at #dinoconuk and met so many wonderful people. Here are my honorary two dino-themed outfits! I'd love to connect to more lovely paleo interested people. ♡

I'm really excited about this! Is there a preferential place to pre-order in the UK?

Would you study something else now if you could?

This is so cool! I wasn't aware that sticket books existed beyond, of course, just filing a notebook with stickers. How does it work?

This is gorgeous!

I'd love career advice towards this. I'm a little older now (30) and worried that I missed the right educational window into Palaeontology or science comms. I'm very much from a lower-class UK background, so any advice would be appreciated! (Sorry for the wall of text!)

In support of Science, Art, Kindness to counter my sense of malaise over the state of the world these past years, Bluesky seemed a good change: here’s a timelapse of me basecoat painting my Tiktaalik sculpture recently for a new display in Singapore!

I re-illustrated #Anchiornis again, and it looks quite a bit different from usual!!! This still matches the known data for this #dinosaur, but I really wanted to avoid it looking copy-pasted this time. I've given a full description of it on my Patreon.

A square image with the head, neck body and wing of anchiornis visible. Is is a long thick necked bird with a grey body and ginger patches on its head and upper arm. The wing is made of many feather layers which are white with black tips.

Appeasing cis people etc by pretending to be more like them is such a fruitless endeavor. it’s ok to bark or do whatever the fuck you feel like doing. Have fun

So, we finally have more iridescent mammals!!!

This is really useful for paleoart as it helps to show what #iridescence on monofilaments looks like, which is difficult to tell from just birds.

Now I just need to try and access the paper.
