To clear things up; There is no steam page. There is no EA planned. This is so very far away from being a thing anyone will be playing.

They're not physics actors. Just dumb game objects that play a tween animation when overlapped. Otherwise, they don't tick and just wait to be picked up. Super cheap.

Well, they were after I remember to turn off the default flag of 'Can ever affect nav'.

Set up a system for spawning pickup items. You tell the gamemode what # you want, and it decides what denominations to spawn and how to spread them. It even staggers them over frames so that there's no hitching. It's very satisfying.

Almost as much as running through it.

3D compressed in shader to be 2D. Reason being so that other assets can be cheaply made with out feeling cheap next to 3d characters. I am only one man after all.

These are my main inspiration.

I intend the game to control like an armored core game. Dungeon crawling and limb ripping.
