And I do understand this reality, thought those in US have a carbon footprint 32x that of someone in sub-Saharan Africa (was about 33x). All the reports do seem to indicate a better direction with hydro/solar and probably a real shift towards Chinese EVs.

Oxygen production is also down, but this number is so low, is not talked about as well. And forget the replacement stat, is very misleading. Fertility rate of 1.4 is around the point in time when population increase stops, and after this point, there often is a decline.

I constantly see an almost total disregard to include population stats as a very important factor to climate change problems. High birth rates, lower death rates, fertility rate well above 4.3, a look at population pyramids, should always be included in one's studies. And we, are in serious trouble!
