I looked the term up. I have dealt with three of the four species ( excluding black carp). They were touted as fish that could increase yields in aquaculture .

Evidently these aren ‘t considered to be an especially big problem, unlike Cuban tree frogs, which i repeatedly find and dispatch.

If it’s native to where you live, i highly recommend climbing aster. It’s still in bloom and all of the pollinators were going crazy on it today. It just needs to be kept moist.

I have plenty of photos with chunks of their tails missing, and yet still flying normally. Their survival tactic seems to work well.

My Ukrainian grandparents had three planted in front of their house. The flowers smelled so sweet and the bees loved them when they were flowering.
