A6) I feel it's more important to always be aware of your surroundings so I don't run with headphones. I just enjoy the sounds of nature. #runchat

A4) today, for example, was 12 degrees real feel (plus I was getting over a cold) so I went 4 layers (long sleeve tech, long sleeve pullover, running jacket, long sleeve tech) + running pants + hat & gloves. #runchat

A3) running pants. I usually wear shorts, but go with tights below 20. But another 5-10 degrees lower than that are better with pants. #runchat

A2) did a 5k that was mostly on a sidewalk adjacent to the river. Air temp was 15 degrees. I remember one section of it being icy, which was the worst part (probably lost about 1 minute slowing down there). #runchat

A1) if it's light outside, I'll run in anything better than a real feel of -10 degrees. If it's dark & windy/ or icy, then I'll turn to the treadmill below 20 degrees. #runchat

Better than expected. I got in all my scheduled runs & keep adding an extra 0.5 mile or 1 mile on to my runs. #MindOverMatter #runchat

A1) An owl on the street curb of a residential road (after dark) sitting behind a car. I slowed down. It was alive & attentive... but it wouldn't leave, even after approaching it. Couldn't tell if it was injured or just nestled/cold. #runchat

I got mugged! (They ran out of finisher medals so got a mug instead 😄 ) But it was my 3rd fastest half so I was pleased with that #runchat
