Thank you for the informative article, which prompts these relatively mundane questions: Do holding patterns always flow counter-clockwise or clockwise, or a mix of both? If it does vary, who decides? (I will hold any questions about cross-correlations with car traffic, the Coriolis Effect, etc...)
