as the guide states, this method has only been tested extensively with what I personally use, which is CSP version 1.13.2. I don't own any of the latter versions, so if you're owning V2 or newer, unfortunately I can't troubleshoot or test those.

I am so out of the loop I had to do a double take - not only would this thing have been a rare back when I kinda fell out of the hobby, it'd have been legendary creature too. that's a pretty nutty card.

was just about to say, you don't need to wait for steamOS, you can just install pretty much any linux distro you deem fit for purpose. steamOS is based on Arch, so if you want a similar experience, distros like CachyOS or EndeavourOS with the KDE desktop environment might be a good start.

... It's high time I do *something* with those ideas, *anything*. Even if the full comic never materializes, I need to get some of it out of my head and onto a (digital) page, or else it'll eat me from within.

I'm kind of in the same boat with Linux. I don't necessarily want it to shrink, but I don't want it to grow to the point where giant corporations would want to elbow themselves into a positon where they can mess with it to generate revenue.

Oh, I'm painfully aware of that one. Just alluding to the fact that Randy just does and says dumb shit, with my favourite story still being the Medieval Times usb stick snafu.
