Be good at something
Exactly. There were so many thoughts she didn't get to finish. And the interruption was to say something that wasn't new or insightful.

He really doesn't!

The unfortunately reality is that of all the Trump mayhem we are dealing with this is pretty low on the list re: news worthiness 😭

I wish racist president posting racist thing could crack the top 5 right now, but it definitely can't

On thier actual politics they are indistinguishable. I think they would vote exactly the same in the senate.

Crockett is more engaged with the national party. She'll write a book, she'll be a pundit. She might like Beto try to run for President, but she will not stick around for another state-wide run. I'd bet money on that.
February 3, 2026 at 7:22 PM
Right conclusion wrong logic.
To me Talarico edges out Crockett because whatever infrastructure he builds will stay in Texas for future state runs.

Then what is your "this"?
February 2, 2026 at 8:19 PM
Of course they do. There is an audience for that. Those shows aren't selling you authenticity.

The question is who would be the audience for a cop show that's "authentic" in the way the Pitt is?
February 2, 2026 at 6:29 PM
I would say they don't, bc in 2026 the cops are the sociopolitical issue.

They barely engage with that, they keep the cops redeemable. Big bad cops are punished, and the cops always eventually get it right.

Idr the last time they let Olivia be wrong on SVU.

Best New artist slate felt competitive when announced. But now it obviously going to Olivia Dean

APT & Luther were actually released in 2024. Manchild feels like it was.

...admitted defeat?
What do you think is happening here?
January 22, 2026 at 6:14 PM
Okay, im re-reading this. And I think you took a concept (n-word with the "hard" r), and you didn't understand that concept, so you misapplied it to another.

"Hard" doesn't mean uncensored. Its referring to the actual pronunciation of the word. Like you can't say n-word hard or ~soft~. Get it?
January 22, 2026 at 5:09 PM
Now im confused again. What did I defend?
Are you saying literally saying "redacted" vs saying "r-word" vs saying "re****"?

What am I missing?
January 22, 2026 at 5:03 PM
Got it, so just saying the r-word.
We talk about the "hard r" in the context of the N-word, which actually distinguishes n***a from n***er. So I thought there was a real distinguish i wasn't aware of.

Thanks for clarifying
January 22, 2026 at 3:06 PM
What is "hard" r-wording? What make it "hard"?
January 22, 2026 at 5:45 AM
If by "propped up" you mean marketed? Sure
Weird for people to have so many feelings about a movie thats is exactly what its trying to be.

Thats not what ICE was intended to be. They just make sure to throw that into the messaging bucket so you'll care even less about the people/communities they harm.

Not to say anything its running perfectly, but to say it runs worse within any enforcement arm of our immigration system. And that's on purpose
January 9, 2026 at 6:40 PM
Be specific. Immigration agencies are "big tent" agencies that seek to do way to much.
Versus, to stick to your example, extradition teams, which are small and require specialized knowledge.
Almost anything you could tell me we need a specialized Immigration detective for exist somewhere else
