i've been trying to run Linux on a 3ds, curious how most of my programs would run there. turns out, there are two projects for the same thing, and both hang because my model is a new 3ds (NTR), which is untested

for *some* reason, the character set in HTML in Chrome by default is ASCII, not UTF-8, which makes for these random characters to appear sometimes. this is why you have to add at the start of your code.

next day in making the quine game engine: BROWSER SUPPORT. generated code can run on BOTH the node.js console and the browser (a bit laggy though). this means that running this example of a timer works mostly the same on both! just copy and paste the code and it works, no need for regenerating it.

because of bluesky's UI design, my banner image got cropped, so i'm sending this. this image is basically the same thing as Adobe's "Media offline" but i changed it to "Ponali offline" and used ntscQT to add a vhs filter on it. oh, and by the way, why is the aspect ratio 1.802:1 on the source image?

one time i went in the Petit Palais art museum and found out that one of the paintings had a mouse cursor on it?? the sign explaining the painting says otherwise, but maybe the people behind the art museum just wrongfully copy-pasted the image from the internet and left the cursor there...? #art

just got a book about video gaming history and found out that pacman was actually named puck man but got renamed to pacman because of being scared of people changing letters

reminder to never convert a Buffer to a string with "ascii".
the ascii implementation is 7-bit, but latin1 is 8-bit and is the exact same thing as the buffer data.
