Writer of literary fiction focusing on identity. Why? I'm still trying to figure that out one book at a time. Write what you know is a problem for me. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Ally Always 🌈✨| Respect, Love, Equality ❤️ | Team Blue For Life 💙🌊
That is the beauty of writing - in what other way can you turn something so ugly and terrible into something so powerful? Art is transcendence.

I'm always excited to see other writers featuring domestic violence and mental health - feels like an underrepresented topic. Kudos!

I think writing/editing through multiple sensory mediums does wonders: by hand, typing, and reading out loud to my plants. My plants are very supportive, but they do find some errors.

I think the biggest one is being away from my desk, my computer. Maybe I am more relaxed or focused? It's very easy on the eyes too. I like paper, but not printing the same chapter out over and over as I make revisions.

I have done editing on the computer and printing chapters out. I don't know what it is, but when I started going over my first chapter with the Kindle a dozen questionable sections immediately popped up for me. I marked them down and read on. Maybe it's easy on the eyes and away from my computer?
