Other than pranks, I successfully made a plaster bat for my pottery studio, made a pasta bowl mould, and started the process to make a maker’s stamp. Oh and a mug.

My sister in law posted in the family chat to ask if anyone was in Toronto and planned on watching the Jays game. No one was (though we all want to be.) she’s like “oh me and a friend are going to watch from a bar.” Half hour later, she posts this from said bar:

STILL DAY 3: painted all the new trim. Shoulders and hands remind me that I am 45 and this is a horrible idea. I do it anyway.
Now it’s day 4 and dammit I’m going to finish! 5/6

Had a stressful, exhausting day at work…so, to get out of my own head, I made a beer cup! Slab built, used a texture roller I made and a fun rock. I didn’t let the slab stiffen up enough before I joined it but what makes it wonky makes it appealing right? #pottery #ceramics

Woke up early, coffee and toast on the porch. Short run, shower, and made some stamp blanks. Left them to dry, coffee with a friend. Lunch courtesy of @scibri.com followed by several hours of carving. Now time to nap before the Jays game. #saturday #running #ceramics

Just picked up my latest set of #pottery projects and learned my sheep has apparently been the talk of all the pottery classes for weeks 🤣
Just retrieved all my lumpy projects from my first #pottery classes. They all survived! Far from perfect but I am so pleased. No cracks! These two were my favourite.
