Seeking and creating meaning in an irrational world
He is being exposed for the fraud he always has been. People are waking up from the spell and realizing their emperor has no clothes. They are starting to see that he is steering us off a cliff, and our brakes are failing.

I have faith in us to choose our wellbeing over his greed.

Good will win.

Not that there are only 2 views of course, but these seem to be the most prominent. And it's clear which one Trump's regime wants us to embody moving forward. Like an extension of his businesses he sees the US as his own personal empire, beholden only to Putin and the oligarchs who own him.

"The president's truth social followers are cool with it and that's good enough for us"

This question should be posed to every republican candidate for every elected office from now on.

I like the idea of duel citizenship better, lol. Reps for each nation square up and duel. Winner claims you.

Their power depends on our consent. We don't have to accept it. The whole system depends on our labor, consumption and compliance. If we withhold them the system and its power will be greatly diminished.

We don't have to accept the authority of an incompetent, unelected tycoon & the gang of fools who conned a heavily propagandized public to vote for them. We deserve better. Our descendants deserve better. But it won't get better on its own. We have far more power than we realize. Let's use it. 16/16

that the game is rigged for the top players. We've been conditioned into learned helplessness, into abdicating our own powers of agency and self-determination. We can reclaim them at any time. We don't have to keep playing a rigged game. We can refuse to play. We can demand change. 15/

We can revoke that consent at any time. We can refuse to create or consume their goods and services. Without our consent, they are powerless. We can make them irrelevant.
We in the US have been conditioned to comply, consume, obey, accept that life isn't fair, that the rich will cheat the system 14/

The Oligarchy gains its power from its wealth. Its wealth is created by us, the people whose labor & currency create the goods & services that build that wealth. The oligarchy only has the power and wealth it does because we consent to it through the willing creation and exchange of its products.13/

of what they will attempt. Their lack of intelligence, absence of self-awareness and ignorance to the true reality of the world are their weaknesses. We can outsmart and disempower them. But only if we exercise self-restraint and resist the urge to take the "easy" path of reactionary violence. 12/

They imagine themselves original colonial style rulers: brutal, merciless, "justified" in using extreme violence to maintain control. I believe strongly that resorting to violence in opposition to this regime will be disastrous and self-defeating. But I'm not advocating toothless acceptance 11/

The far right is hungry for violence, they've been preparing for it and have been waiting for an excuse to "punish" their perceived enemies for years. I see a similar bloodlust on the left, which I fear is playing directly into the playbook the incoming administration has prepared. 10/

Instead, it seems apparent that their hope is to accelerate the social unrest that has been slowly approaching boil-over until there is an incident that gives them an excuse to declare martial law & use the full weight of the US military to strip us of what few freedoms we still enjoy. 9/
