every new meme that comes out of tiktok now is just people taking a clip that isn't funny and then putting the fire explosion effect over it and then playing it again but slower and then playing it again but faster to emphasize that it isn't funny

main reason i fell off silksong was seeing so many people post their completion times and realizing it's like 60, 80, even 120 hours long. i was just like wow, that is really fucking long for a metroidvania, especially one that consistently demanding. i could finish so many other games in that time

the struggle with the beast wars/machines thing i'm writing right now is that i wanted it to be on the shorter side, but i also feel the need to explain the basics of these shows, because i know i have followers who just like to read my thoughts even when they aren't familiar with the subject matter

also helps that blokees got their foot in the door with cheap model kits of designs from transformers one that literally aren't supposed to be able to transform in the first place

older fans like them too, of course, but it feels like there's a lot of new fans post-tfone who MAINLY collect blokees

funny shift in the transformers fandom recently, based on what i've seen anyway, is that the younger fans seem way more enthusiastic about non-transforming transformers figures, because blokees kits are the cheapest and easiest way to get some figures of your faves and start a collection rn
