-reread again and again over the years. and as a side note, i have to praise the journalism and reporting that takes place throughout the books. those segments are exciting to read, even one a second reread when i already know the outcomes and mysteries. xm's passion and journey of confronting-

i already love soulmates so much as a romantic concept in fiction. combining it with unconventional romance, ups and downs of angst, tenderness and passionate intimacy leads to a series i will-

-problematic. these are characters that have a mutual understanding between each other who prefer to work through things in their own ways. it's messy for sure but not indicative of toxicity.
they're truly soulmates and like the author states in the book-end interview, even if things didn't play-

-relationship, this kind of story would read a lot more unpleasant and toxic.
ik lots of people already feel it is that way, it's certainly not a series i can recommend just to anyone lol. but especially with a fresh reread, i can't disagree more with those who feel the relationship is dubious and-
