I don't think there's been a movie much less an episode of TV released in the last 25 years that's better than Part 8, and only a few that are as good. One of the few pieces of art in my lifetime that felt like it was doing something truly NEW.

I actually like all the later seasons (other than 4 obviously) and think they're much better than they have any right to be but the second half of 1 through 3 is still the best stuff imo
