Surely if Teh Mediaz wanted to genuinely address this “epidemic”, the focus would be on, you know, concrete steps that individuals can take, instead of providing not only a scapegoat but simultaneously projecting this sense of inevitability and helplessness onto men.

It just feels kinda gross and manufactured to me. It’s all a bit scapegoatey.
Instead of saying “men, reach out to your fellow humans”, the narrative and discussion seems to be framed in this weird “oh whatever can we do about the men feeling lonely [because all they want is to touch boobies]” way

It just feels kinda gross and manufactured to me. It’s all a bit scapegoatey.

Is it an excuse to use my janky, but home-made router table? Yes.
Did I manage to get the dimensions correct by sneaking up on the target value instead of ‘eyeballing it’ and finding I’ve gone way over?
Also yes.

Cut some rails for a router to ride on.
They’re a bit short… I didn’t actually think this through, to nobody’s surprise.
However… maybe they’re long enough to stick some blocks on the very ends?
Or am I going to need to make a longer track/sled out of plywood?
