I worked on a Genesys port of Achtung Cthulhu before the 2d20 release that worked really well. I'd probably go for Trail of Cthulhu if I was going for seething more purist.

We once had to sit through the CEO talking to the townhall moderator about going away for a month skiing over christmas and buying a new car, and then talking about how layoffs were necessary. The tone deafness of these people is astounding.

The FFG/Edge version. I also have my original copy of First Edition(a little worse for wear) but it doesn't feel as elegant as the newer one.

Legend of the Five Rings is always on my reading pile as I enjoy it so much.
