Instant prints from a survey of 1970s school architecture in Baltimore County. This style originated with the innovative ideas in the design of the Crow Island School that had small child-scale classrooms with direct access to the outside, a huge change from the ponderous older style.

Sample images from a re-photographic landscape project along the Susquehanna River of areas that had been surveyed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe in 1801. He produced wonderful watercolors. Some locations are essentially the same. Others have power plants or housing developments.

Doowop style motel in the Wildwoods, NJ

In the Wildwoods, although a bunch of amazing structures were demolished to make way for generic condominiums, there is still a great concentration of examples of seaside motels from the height of the automobile era of family vacations in the decades after WWII.

Views of Spring Grove, PA. The paper mill has a distinctive cabbage smell that I think reaches down into Baltimore at times depending on atmospheric conditions and the wind.
