“The Getaway” is an excellent ‘bank heist’ novel with protagonist Sam Archer, an ARU agent in North London, who pairs up with the FBI following the death of his father, and lands in the middle of a crime spree mess in New York City. Five FAST-PACED Stars! Kindle, 331 pages. Recommended by BookBub.

The redoubtable PI is back in a beautiful piece of urban noir writing that I re-read parts of as soon as I read it the first time.
