Thanks for having me
I started this for the first time a week ago. Pretty interesting so far. What surprised me most was how many songs from the soundtrack I’d already heard thanks to listening to JRPG soundtrack compilations on YouTube while I write super boring user stories for work

Hindsight is always 20/20.

Biden’s bet was “if I make everything normal again and deliver results for people in red states we can get out of this w/out crazy measures.”

Obviously the wrong tact now, but at the time (middle of COVID, post J6, Trump’s crazy first term) there was a case for it

Just called his office to let him know what a piece of shit he is. Cannot wait to vote his dumbass out in November

As a GA resident, I’m not sure how dunking on kids in your state is considered “good politics”.

Might as well tweet out “look at these kids who go to a school we’ve chronically underfunded, but it’s totally their fault not mine! Ignore me never actually helping my constituents”

I hate what Charlie Kirk said and believed in, but he had a first amendment right to hold and say those beliefs.

This is the same, but with the second amendment. You may not like the guy, you may think he shouldn’t have brought a gun, etc., but the fact is he had a right to have that gun on him.

Ignore my typos. I think we know what I meant. Typing while angry is hard

I thought the whole point of having “fuck you money” was to say “fuck you” in when told to do something you wanna do. Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, and all their ilk could speak out against this and not cow tow to our Dear Leader ™️. Instead they’ve fully gone along with it to the point of complicity. V sad

Either we have these rights, or we don’t. The government can’t pick and choose when to honor our rights

They’ve been making claims of paid agitators for years, yet can never seem to come up with any sort of money trail even when they have the full power of a subservient justice department at their fingertips
January 25, 2026 at 5:09 PM
Ok cool, you didn’t bring a gun, but you’re still allowed to bring a gun. Tons of people brought guns to J6 and they didn’t get murdered and that was an actual riot.

If the agents consider this an “attack” then they shouldn’t be in those roles. If they’re too scared to conduct their jobs in a calm, rational manner then they should be behind a desk with the rest of the cowards.

The issue with that is then every ICE and border patrol agent would be behind a desk

Well the guy actually HAD a deadline that he blew past soooooooo………

Rep. Frost was elected to represent his district and I’m not sure how going to Sundance does that right now.

The account you’re responding to is just a random person who is allowed to criticize an elected official.

I can’t believe I had to scroll this far down to see this sentiment. I get that people still have to live their lives to some degree, but if he was my rep and I saw this tweet coupled with the news of yet another murder in Minneapolis today I’d be a little annoyed to say the least

Saw this in theaters with my wife. I loved it and she still occasionally mentions how much she hated it

100%

I don’t know what the right answer is, but he can’t act in the moment. It’s unfair, but because the federal government is acting belligerently he has to be incredibly careful about how he responds to each of these tragedies. The federal government has more people and more guns.

Fuck ICE

I get this sentiment, but it’s not like Scheier’s piece is titled “awesome game designer I have zero issues with makes a new game and I wholeheartedly endorse it”

I had no idea he was controversial at all and was excited about the game, but now I won’t buy it. That wouldn’t have happened otherwise

“We’re going to actually examine what took place on that day……….now let me come in with some preconceived notions before we examine anything”

The fact that Vance is out there doing damage control rather than just acting like everything is going perfectly shows this is going awful for them. The people of the Twin Cities are doing amazing work and if they keep it up it’s going to get even worse for this admin
January 22, 2026 at 7:58 PM
Your points are 100% correct. These people have agency in this and they act as though this is a hurricane or snowstorm that we have no control over.

Also, I find it RICH that the people who spent decades dumping all over the UN are just making a worse version of the UN

Who am I to judge what somebody would want on their deathbed, but I just feel like I’d wanna see some part of the world or experience my family as much as possible. Different strokes and all that
January 18, 2026 at 5:22 PM
Not even just too much of it. I’ve had a kidney transplant and there are tons of medications I can’t take because they’ll interfere with the medications I’m on. Like these people don’t think past the first thought in their head and it’s Insane
January 18, 2026 at 3:32 PM
Yeah it’s not like we can just type in rosebud and all of a sudden get money to afford a second piece of broccoli
