Shrek's an interesting example as it was originally rendered below 1080p to begin with, so the 4K release largely only benefits from higher bitrate and maaaaybe enhanced color. The only thing they could do to merit a new "master" would be to re-render it from the ground up, if that's even possible.

Another anniversary release, perhaps, but movies don't justget remastered for the hell of it on their anniversaries. Usually only happens once per major format shift.

I'm always temped by sets like this, particularly this one since I love this franchise, but...it feels like it'll eventually feel incomplete if and when they make another.

I'm glad it's not just me, genuinely thought my dexterity was fucked and that I was going to have to start doing text-to-speech like someone's fucking dad.
