a lil tropey #sonadow warm up, before getting some more comic stuff going in the new year. This one's been sitting in my files for months.

-I like the idea that Sonic can be silent for hours but word vomits here n there.
-Continues my HC that he's accidentally romantic, despite himself haha

Sonic kisses shadow's head and eyes, while sitting in a vulnerable position in a field. The stars can be seen around them, as shadow asks why sonic is kissing his eyes. In the next panel, Sonic explains they're his favorite part of shadow, because they were the first thing he noticed. Shadow wonders how he can be so generic, not taking interest in his chest or spines. Sonic admits he likes those features too, but he noticed his eyes and speed first. In the first panel, Sonic begins to yap on as shadow silently listens, explaining "Plenty of monsters in kid's stories have sharp and pointy eyes like Doom's. All red 'n glowy. For a while, Egg's glowin' robo-eyes made for some spooky stories when I was a kid, heheh. But yours are all natural." Shadow looks off, wondering to himself if Doom's influence on his body can be called natural. Sonic continues in the next panel, "I always thought glowin' red eyes were s'pposed to be scary, but yours werent. They never looked evil. Not like those mindless hunks of metal. Myabe that's why I held back?" The notion of Sonic holding back catches Shadow's attention... His ears turn to face him, listening more closley now. How could he possibly have held back? Sonic finishes off the third panel with, "You never looked like you wanted to kill me, you just looked angry and lost--like when a kid throws a fit or somethin'." Causing Shadow's brow to raise a bit. His ears to perked up and he begins blushing as sonic continues, "You just looked like you needed to hug someone, but that 'someone' wasnt there anymore..." In the last panel, sonic quickly stops himself, embarrassed by how long he's talking. "Geez, sorry for yappin!" he bonks his forehead on shadow, "Im sure my hugs arent the same, but I promise ta alwasy hug back, okay?" Shadow stares blankly, turning red as he recalls sonic's initial acceptence to go on dates, where he shrugs it off saying "we can go on dates 'n all, but, Hope you're not expecting romance... I'm not really a lovey dovey, cuddle under the stars and whisper you sweet nothings kinda guy, okay? Just gonna be Sonic." "lies" Shadow thinks, as they are literaly sitting in a feild, being cuddly and kissy under the stars... He doesnt understand what Sonic continues romance.

2 page sketchy one piece comic of luffy, law, and kid fighting some off-screen enemy. the artist hasn’t really figured it out. panel 1: luffy lands flat on his back, unconscious and sizzling, eyes empty and tongue hanging out. in the background, a teeny law and kid stand mid-fight. law calls out, “lu—“ then catches himself to yell, “mugiwara-ya!” panel 2: law runs up to luffy, to continues to look worse for wear and very much non-responsive. law anxiously says, “oi, oi! get up—“ before he is cut off. panel 3: a close up of law’s startled face. his eyes are wide and his face is in shadow, as he sees something rapidly approaching. panel 4: law covers luffy’s body with his own, cradling his head in his hands. over him, kid shields them both with his own body and a sheet of metal. three bullets clang, clank, clink into it, leaving deep indents. kid looks royally peeved, shouting, “are you STUPID, trafalgar?! what was the plan?! stop those bullets with your scrawny little stick body?!” page 2. panel 1: a top view of the back of law and kid’s heads as they look down at luffy. law is hissing, “i was GOING to sham—“ before luffy interrupts. his eyes are groggy and half-lidded as he says, “UGH. what happened…” panel 2: still stacked over each other, law and kid exchange uncomfortable and slightly annoyed looks in silence. panel 3: law scrambles to the side, grabbing his fallen hat, while kid pushes off to roll himself and the sheet of metal off of luffy. luffy sits up, leaning on one hand as they dismount. law shouts, “mugiwara-ya!” and kid shouts, “straw hat!” before they yell together, “get him!” an extremely lazy and vague silhouette stands in the distance in front of luffy, who just mumbles, “uh huh… i was gonna…”
